Update on Our 3 C's Week!

A couple weeks ago was our Three C’s week, where we intended to have as many people as possible explore their curiosities, increase their confidence, and create authentic connections in a short span of time. We hosted three events, all with different groups of girls, and had a great time while doing it!

On Monday, we spent an afternoon exploring the West Side. We started with some thrifting in the West Village, and then walked up the West Side to find a place for lunch. We ended up at a cute bistro called Elmo, but if you wanted to recreate this event on a day in the spring, we’d recommend checking out Little Island for a picnic!

On Friday, a group of us met up at Wagamama for dinner! The attendees of this dinner were a mix of people who have been to Cove Collective events before and some new faces, but by the end of the night, as we shared matcha cheesecake and banana katsu (fried bananas topped with salted caramel ice cream), we had all gotten to know each other better!

And finally, on Sunday we met up in Koreatown! There were plenty of options inside Food Gallery 32, which makes it a great place for a group! We tried some delicious foods, including bulgogi, and then got some bubble tea and took a walk around the area. After exploring Koreatown for a bit, we went into a thrift store and came up with some creative outfits. We had a great time, and I was so happy that I had a chance to introduce one of our members to thrifting for the first time (check out our outfits below)!

Three C’s Week was a huge success, and we’re looking forward to continuing this momentum in the next few months! Comment your ideas for our next event below, and we’ll see you there!
