2nd Annual Vision Board Night!

On a very cold night in January, the Cove Collective gathered to ring in the new year with vision boards! As soon as guests arrived, we dove right into ripping pictures out of magazines. While we searched, we shared what we wanted to manifest in the new year- some of the things mentioned were spending more time in nature, celebrating the little things (or even for no reason at all), and traveling to new places! Somebody pointed out the beautiful sunset, so we took a break to admire it, and once we were ready to get back to our collages, pizza had arrived! Over pizza, we got to know each other better. The attendees came from a range of different schools and neighborhoods, but even so, everyone got along really well! We ended the night with more vision boarding and a toast to the new year. It was an evening of great conversation, new connections, and creativity.

Our first official event in January 2024 was a vision board making party, so it felt so meaningful to host another one a year later! It's hard to believe how much the Cove Collective has grown in the past year. We've hosted a ton of events, and our members have formed new friendships with one another as we've explored the city, tried new foods, and gotten crafty. Looking back at the vision board that I made at least year's event, I can honestly say that a lot of what I manifested on it - warm dinner parties, thrift days, trying new recipes, and more, all with my old friends as well as new ones- has come true! I'm so grateful that I've had this opportunity to bring people together who would be unlikely to find each other otherwise, and that we've formed such an incredible, joyful community. I'm looking forward to continuing all of that in 2025!
