Brunch and Bouquets

This past Saturday, a couple of us met up for brunch at Blend on the Water. We had a lively conversation over Latin American inspired plates like torrejas (Cuban-style french toast), a strawberry and mango salad, and huevos rancheros. While we ate our delicious food, we admired the beautiful flora that decorated the ceiling and dining area. It was the perfect inspiration for the next part of our afternoon, flower arranging!
With a selection of stems, including spray roses, chrysanthemums, eucalyptus, and baby's breath, we made vibrant bouquets that brought a moment of spring into a frigid week. Everyone got to take their creations home, and hopefully they'll continue to serve as a reminder that spring is getting closer!
